A John Lloyd, Bea Alonzo love team comeback movie The Mistress has topped box office records, raking in P100 million 5 days after it hit theaters nationwide. Earlier, The Mistress dethroned Vice Ganda starrer Pribeyt Benjamin's 1st day earnings of P23.6 million with P25 million.

The Mistress, said to be the most daring movie roles played by both JL and Bea, goes in line with the 10th year anniversary of one of the top love teams in the Philippines.
The Mistress was graded “B” by the Cinema evaluation board. It also earned positive reviews, with it reaching the hub of Filipino twitter users online. A full trailer of The Mistress is shown below.
